Sam Goldinger is a self-taught foil sculptor and origami artist. Sam created his own art form called ori-haku (“folding foil”), which integrates aspects of origami and sculpting.
All sculptures are created from a single piece of foil: No cutting, no tearing, no taping, no gluing!
Sam incorporates complex folding and sculpturing techniques to create each sculpture (small and large) from a single piece of foil. Even the claws and teeth are created from the same piece of foil with no cutting.
